This Christmas was fun and a little different for me since none of my siblings were here for Christmas. Only my parents were able to make it up to Utah for Christmas.
We had Christmas Eve dinner at the Oldroyds. It didn't make sense for my parents to have a big dinner with just us four, so it was nice being with my parents and Matt's family on Christmas Eve. Mom wanted to bring something to the dinner so we made this:
A fruit bouquet! It was fun! My mom cut the fruit shapes and I arranged. Matt and I spent Christmas morning with my parents then headed to his house after. Just a few gift highlights:
I thought this mug from Chelsea was cute.
.
Cable for a year for Matt! He was so excited. The morning the Comcast guy came Matt woke up every 10 minutes to look outside and make sure he didn't miss us. (8 am to 10 am!)
Matt's gift to me:
A TANO bag! I was sooo excited! I found this in Omaha when I visited my sister and LOVED it, but I couldn't bring myself to buy it. When I came back I kept talking about it to Matt, in the meantime he had my sister buy it and send it to him. What a surprise! This bag is so cute, and I love that the brand is my name...Tano!
.Matt and I left for St. George and Las Vegas Christmas evening.
Matt & Chels after lunch at Joe's.
Matt's new show of interest is Pawn Stars on the History Channel. So of course, we had to go to the Pawn Star pawn shop. .
While in Vegas Matt and I ate GOOD Japanese Ramen. We also stopped at Yoshinoyas. It's fast food chain in Japan and we found out there were a couple in Vegas. It was so good! When we were in Japan Yoshinoyas was one of my favorite places to eat. Yum!
..
I was so excited about all the snow when we got back to Provo because I wanted to build this....

...an igloo! It was so fun, but more work than I expected.
.
My brother and his family were also able to make it up for the week after Christmas.
My cute nephew with his snowman, my igloo and Granite.
Jess, here's the funny picture of Kono trying to lift the box. So cute. Don't you love his face? Lifting with his legs, not his back. Good job.
Cute Kaipo ready for the long ride home!
