Wii...

...are hooked on

Bob (Matt's pops) bought this for Christmas. We gave it a try but it was too hard, so we let it sit for a couple months...until last week. I think we've put in about 8 hours. We've been to his parents' almost every night to play, and last Saturday? This was our date-night activity (3 hours). This is strange for us since neither of us are gamers...at all. But this game is something else ;) I even find myself looking up "cheats and codes" on the internet. What a nerd.

I Heart My Valentine

It was my turn to plan Valentine's Day this year.

Friday:
We started our weekend out by watching...

Then ate the biggest plate of Nachos at Los Hermanos...Yeah, I felt sick after.

Saturday:

We decided to try out...

Yum! I especially liked the flatbread. It's like tortillas cooked on the grill.

Of course, we had to have dessert after so we had homemade Chilis Paradise Pie (Matt's favorite)...it was pretty close. We both liked it.

Sunday:

I cooked breakfast Sunday morning. I made Matt's favorite: Spam and Eggs. I also made bite-sized King's Hawaiian French Toast....mmm delish.

I needed some heart shaped cookie cutters and Matt gave me a cute set! He's really good at picking up on hints ;)

He also gave me the cutest card. He always says the funniest things in them. I love it.

Of course, I had to make cookies!

...Uhhh a little scary. Anyone have a good *tasting* royal frosting recipe?

Winter Fun...

Meet Amy, or as I call her, Sweet Amy ;)

Every winter my cousin Amy comes from Hawaii to snowboard.

She is the FUNNEST person you will ever meet and Matt and I were so happy to have her stay with us.

While she was here Matt and I joined her out on the slopes. This was our (me and Matt) first time snowboarding/skiing together. I barely kept up with Matt and Amy, but I made it through the day.

Hmmm...how is it Amy lives in Hawaii and I live in Utah and she's so good and I'm so bad at snowboarding?

(PS. She hates being called Sweet Amy)
