Today Matt and I are flying to Hawaii for my Grandma Tano's funeral. Although we would have hoped our first trip to Hawaii together would be under different circumstances, we are still grateful for this opportunity to reunite with friends and family.
My Grandma was an amazing and inspiring woman. A mother of 8 children, and grandmother to 35 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. I found this site my cousin created last year. It is a brief biography of Grandma Tano's life. What a legacy she has left.

Awww, what a cute picture of the two of you. I thought about making a honorary post on the day of her death with a picture of her and Granite, but just didn't.
