So far...

First off, Happy Valentine's Day!
This year (Matt's idea, of course) we went up to the Wasatch golf course in Midway where Matt proposed to me over 3 years ago!
This just happens to be the same tree where Matt proposed to me. And just like that day, the course was covered in snow!

Next, we exchanged cards...

Then stopped by the Ice Castles in Midway. Pretty cool.

On to other updates...
Last month Matt and I went up to Duck Creek, near Cedar City. It was such a fun weekend. These were the only pictures I took.

As if Matt doesn't have enough on his plate, he received his study manuals for the CPA exam...ugh poor guy.

I've been wanting a food scale for a while, so I finally bought one (w/gift card money...i LOVE gift cards)! And I love it! I'm a little obessed so that means it takes me longer to cook since I refuse to use measureing cups/spoons anymore.

And since I bought a food scale I thought I'd make some homemede caramel...they were delicious, at first, but now they could break my teeth. I think I need to invest in a good candy thermometer next.

Last of all, Matt's surgery in December was successful! After his surgery we went in for more tests and the doctors said the cancer didn't spread. We have a check up in March to see if anything shows up, but we are pretty confident everything will look good! We feel so blessed and happy about these results!
